Record CD-Recordable (CD-R) discs at up to
24X (Max.) speed, CD-ReWritable discs at up to 10X (Max.) speed. This means
you can record 650 MB of data on a CD-R disc in about 3 minutes, and a CD-RW
disc in about 8 minutes. And with playback at up to 24X (Max.) speed, and
playback of DVD-ROM discs at 8X (Max.)

The large 8 MB data buffer on your
MDP-AP20U drive delivers high sustained transfer rates. Sony's new
Power-Burn Technology helps to prevent buffer under-run for worry free
