Vegas Audio is an upgrade to the
award-winning Vegas Pro. It combines a powerful feature set with a
streamlined interface allowing you to quickly construct and edit
professional audio projects. Vegas Audio is perfect for music
composition, song remixing, film scoring, hotmixing, broadcast editing,
and streaming media.
With Vegas Audio you can edit several tracks simultaneously and add
unlimited tracks to your project. The program's simple drag-and-drop
interface lets you visually align, cut, paste, move, and crossfade audio
events between tracks or on the same track with extreme precision. Vegas
Audio can even synchronize audio with a single video track.
Vegas Audio includes 18 DirectX audio effects. Apply an effect to an
audio event in real time and hear the results instantly. With multiple
I/O configurations, you can assign different inputs to different tracks
when recording—providing you with a professional recording tool for
live performances and in-studio productions. Vegas Audio includes
enhanced Internet authoring tools for creating streaming media files for
the Internet (in WMA and RM formats). Insert metadata command markers to
launch Web sites, display captions and more.
What You Can Do With Vegas Audio
Record and Edit Audio.
Manipulate multiple audio tracks at once with Vegas® Audio,
turning your PC into a complete, professional recording studio.
Perform automatic crossfades when two events join in the Track
View. Best of all, crossfades happen in real time so you can
audition the results and adjust your audio files during playback!
Perform quick, real-time stretching of your audio files without
changing pitch using Rubber Audio™. Never worry about the pitch
changing on time-stretched audio again.
Apply an effect or change to an audio event in real time and hear
the results immediately.
Apply DirectX effects including Reverb, Time Compression, Delay,
Chorus, Noise Gate, Graphic Dynamics, and Distortion to your audio
tracks.
Play back and record tracks through the same audio device
simultaneously. Record a new track while listening to another.
Cut, copy, and paste envelopes give you complete flexibility.
Envelopes lock to events for easy editing.
Restore your project to any previous state quickly and easily with
unlimited Undo/Redo.
Assign inputs to different tracks when recording-giving you a
professional recording tool for live performances and in-studio
