Technics makes the working DJs Tools of
the Trade. Since 1973, when we introduced the Technics SL-1200 to
market, our direct-drive, strobe monitored turntables have been adopted
by both professional and amateur DJs as the industry standard.
Today, Technics introduces the SL-1200M3D Direct Drive turntable. The
M3D uses the same inner workings as the MK2, but it's been further
re-engineered for smoother, nonstop performance. Because, as anyone
who's ever thrilled to club music can tell you, the beat must go on.
Features:
Technics Slip Pad and No-hinge Dust Cover
The custom Technics slip pad is included with the SL-1200M3D. This mat
protects your records from the metal plate on which they spin.
Additionally, the Technics SL-1200M3D is equipped with a convenient
no-hinge dust cover. Professional DJs will appreciate this feature, as
it lets you perform free-style at a gig, and then quickly and easily
cover up the equipment to protect it when you return to your home or the
studio.
Recessed Power Control
This turntable comes with a specially designed recessed power control,
so it can't be activated accidentally. This feature makes it certain
that once you start the music, it will never be unwittingly stopped!
Direct Drive
The SL-1200M3D is equipped with Technics original integral rotor-platter
DD (Direct-Drive) motor and unwavering quartz DD accuracy. The precision
molded aluminum diecast cabinet and heavy rubber base material help
absorb unwanted vibrations, while the turntable includes a head shell
stand on the cabinet.
The SL-1200M3D also has a total quartz locked continuous pitch
adjustment up to +/- 8%, and comes equipped with a convenient pitch
reset button.
