KDC-X659 focuses on delivering great music. It plays not only CD, CD-R,
and CD-RW discs, but also your MP3- encoded CD-Rs and RWs. And it's
ready for Sirius® Satellite Radio if you are; there are 100 digital
channels of music, talk, and news to choose from. And since three
separate satellites beam the signals from space, they'll lock onto your
vehicle no matter where you drive. The KDC-X659's System E's+ Advanced
Crossover System gives you the flexibility of an external 2-way
electronic crossover, and Kenwood's System Q EX Sound Control System
provides advanced bass/treble/midrange control, manually or with 5
preset curves, to get your music just how you want it. Gold-plated 4.5V
pre-outs (front, rear, and non-fading) are provided for superior
signal-to-noise performance, and the flip-down faceplate - which
features a very cool high-resolution multicolor FL display - is
removable.
