DVD player to a component video equipped TV. When this connection is
utilized, typical NTSC artifacts - like video noise and dot crawl - are

Coaxial &
Optical TosLink® Digital Audio Output
Sends the audio signal to an audio/video receiver in its digital form
allowing access to the Dolby Digital® /DTS® track encoded on the DVD
disc.
MP3 Audio
Compatibility
Expands the players' functionality to include playback of custom music
collections encoded via MP3 digital audio format onto CD-R or CD-RW
media.

CONVENIENCE
Picture Zoom
This interactive feature allows you to select an area of the picture you
want to zoom in on and magnify. Enhanced digital processing during
moving video or freeze-frame playback produces superior color fidelity
and resolution, even when you're zoomed in. Also can be used to expand
letter-box-only films to increase the viewable area on-screen.
Bookmark
Allows 5 digital 'bookmarks' to save favorite locations/scenes on
discs loaded inside the player. The bookmark feature provides quick
access to those scenes the user wants to view
again, or demonstrate to friends.

Micron Head System
Offers superior slow motion effects over conventional 2 head designs.
Toshiba's 19-Micron Heads match precisely the width
of the SLP and EP azimuths and read only the signal recorded on each
azimuth (not adjoining tracks). The benefit is significantly enhanced
SLP and EP performance so good, it rivals the
quality of tapes recorded in the SP Mode.
Quasi S-VHS
Compatible
This feature will allow tapes that were recorded in a Super VHS deck to
be played back in the Toshiba deck without a significant reduction in
quality.

Delivers the highest quality stereo sound from tapes recorded with a
high fidelity soundtrack. Can be used in conjunction with a surround
sound receiver to create signature Dolby Surround or Dolby ProLogic®
Surround sound in the home environment.

CONVENIENCE
Commercial Skip
After a program has been recorded, pressing the skip button once during
playback will automatically advance the tape 30 seconds forward
bypassing recorded commercials. Pressing the skip button on the remote
again will advance the recorded tape for another 30 seconds for a total
of 60 seconds.
XDS Auto Clock
Set
This feature ensures that your VCR never blinks "12:00"
again. A special data stream in your local broadcast source (where
available) automatically sets the clock display and keeps it accurate -
even when time changes to daylight savings and back. Auto Clock Set also
provides on-screen displays of each channel's call letters and ID.
